Hans Greischberger is the "Holzstöckerlbauer"
Hans Greischberger, a passionate organic farmer and nature guide from Seeham, not only has a heart for nature, but also for exciting stories. Together with his wife, he runs an idyllic farm that Holiday guests and is affectionately known by everyone as the "Holzstöckerlbauer".
The reason for this is the 40,000 handmade wooden sticks that Hans himself has created with dedication. Every Friday, he invites families to visit the farm, where children can give free rein to their creativity by playing with the wooden blocks.
But it's not just the craftsmanship that makes a visit to Hans unforgettable. He is particularly famous for his captivating legendary walks through the mystical Teufelsgraben, a true natural jewel in Seeham. With great enthusiasm, he tells his self-written "Teufelsgrabensage" (Devil's Ditch Saga), which captivates all listeners. His voice drops to a whisper when the miller and the ball miller meet a young man who promises them that they can slide down the waterfall unharmed. They have the devil in the flesh in front of them. I wonder what he has in mind for them?

In autumn and winter, the magic becomes even more intense when Hans bathes the Teufelsgraben in a mysterious light during torchlight walks. The crackling torches cast long shadows as he tells more mystical tales. These hikes lead through a natural landscape, past the roaring Wildkar waterfall and the Kugelmühle open-air museum. Here, where the mills of bygone times come back to life, the history of the Teufelsgraben is told on child-friendly boards and the fascination of the forest - an experience for young and old. The organic hay region, the Seeham organic village and the interrelationships of nature are particularly important to him.
Every Tuesday from May to October, Hans leads a two-hour legendary hike through the Teufelsgraben. Whether in golden autumn or on a winter torchlight walk - a visit to Hans, the "Holzstöckerlbauer", is always an adventure full of stories and natural wonders.
