Always on the 2nd Sunday in September from 10:30 a.m., the Berndorf horse-drawn carriage gala takes place as part of a village festival. About 40 beautiful, traditional single, double, triple and quadruple carriages, especially dressed up for this special occasion, will be the main attraction of this unique horse-drawn carriage gala.

The horse-drawn carriages will be individually presented to the visitors of the village fair by a horse and carriage expert during a defilee on the Berndorf village square. The various traditional carriages, the types of harness and the breeds of horses will be explained in detail.

In addition to horse-drawn carriage rides for guests, the supporting programme also includes pony rides and a straw bouncy castle for children. The village festival will be musically framed with the horse-drawn carriage gala by the Berndorf traditional music band.
