Beautiful easy hike through wooded recreational area with a summit plateau and summit cross.

The starting point is the Hofstädterbauer in Lengroid. Here you follow the forest road and walk past the barrier until you reach the highest point of the Irrsberg at 844 m in about an hour.

There are two options for the way back.

• Option 1: Take the Neumarkt Trail to Toni's Bauernschänke in Pfongau and continue in the direction of Lengroid to the starting point at Hofstädter.
• Variant 2: In the direction of Oberhofen once around the Irrsberg and back to the starting point.
