This 18 km tour around the Wallersee is not only manageable by bike, but also well on foot. There is no specific starting point - you can start from anywhere.
Example: Starting from the car park of the Seekirchen lido, the path for pedestrians leads along the railway line on the western shore, past fields and along the nature conservation area. Wenger Moor.
After just under five kilometres, you reach the end of the moorland at the "Wiererbauern". Here, a magnificent view over the Wallersee reveals itself - and the benches invite you to take a short rest. The footpath leads over some narrow steps directly to the Wallersee bank, past pretty little houses and up to the Winkler restaurant.
As soon as you have passed the Neumarkt lido, you cycle along the south side of the Wallersee to Marieninsel and on via Enzing to Henndorf on the Wallersee. From there, the route runs via Seebrunn and Mitterfenning to Fenningerspitz; then and further along the road to Fischtagging, where you change back onto side roads or the cycle path. You return to the Seekirchen lido via the Fischach lock.
The circular trail leads through an idyllic landscape. If you just want to go for a walk: the Wenger Moor or sections of the circular trail along the south or west shore are ideal for this.
