Colourful deciduous forests in the picturesque hilly landscape amidst the lakes and along the tranquil lakeshores invite you to enjoy relaxing cycling or hiking tours. The farmers' autumn programme is dominated by traditional handicrafts - whether herb expert, ball miller or blacksmith - they share their traditional knowledge with interested visitors. Autumnal decorations in the Bauernherbst towns of Obertrum am See, Seeham, Neumarkt am Wallersee and Straßwalchen as well as the traditional autumn festivals are all part of the programme. For pleasure and sport cyclists, a total of 600 kilometres of well-maintained cycle paths await, leading over hills with magnificent distant views, through sparse forests and along unspoilt stretches of lakeshore. Whether for a tour into the blue or one of the 16 elaborated bike tours - seven rental and service stations as well as around 20 e-bike charging stations are available for every case. In the Seenland, the manageable length of most of the tours makes them ideal for star rides.
Seeham Friday in particular holds an extraordinary abundance of joie de vivre and rural craftsmanship in store for all the senses. Every Friday, a different craft enterprise opens its door to visitors: Things are heating up at Monika Kaiser's natural smithy and at the Celtic smithy near Schiessentobel in Seeham. The Drei-Seen-Galerie shows modern art and creativity with 40,000 wooden sticks is awakened at the Aicherbauer Hans.
