Straßwalchen market festival with large market stage

The Straßwalchen Tourist Association, together with local associations and innkeepers, invites you to a two-day market festival on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 July on the market square. A colourful music programme, culinary delicacies and a sauté trough race are on the programme.

Great programme

Four live music acts on our market festival stage will ensure the best atmosphere for the festival visitors. The Friday evening starts with "Fenzl und Bäänd" and afterwards the band "Mojo Sixx" from the Pongau region provides a party atmosphere. On Saturday you can look forward to a twilight pint with the Straßwalchen traditional music band and then shake a leg to "SlapstiX".

 

Sautrog Race in the Hainbach

At Saturday 15 July finds from 6 p.m. a "Sautrog Race" will take place in the Hainbach. Teams of 2 will paddle over a distance of approx. 50 metres. Afterwards, the best teams will be crowned at the award ceremony and rewarded with great prizes. More detailed information will be announced later.

 

Indulgence & Culinary

Of course, the culinary aspect is not neglected at the Straßwalchen market festival. The varied and diverse offer of the Strasswalchen innkeepers and associations ranges from traditional cuisine to Italian delicacies and sweet treats.
