The Tannberg Cycle Route leads along the border of Salzburg and Upper Austria on less frequented country and municipal roads or on cycle paths. The start is in Köstendorf at the car park in the centre. The route runs along the foot of the Tannberg across green meadows in the direction of Enharting. It goes to the east side of the wooded mountain, from here to Lengau and Punching at the lake. From small hills, spectacular views open up again and again over the Mattsee as well as the surrounding hills and into the Alps. The trail continues along the South side of the Mattsees through Reitsham, Schalkham and Guglmoos, past the Egelseen lakes to Schleedorf and via the Fischachmühle back to Köstendorf.
The circular trail contains no difficult climbs or descents and is ideal for the whole family.
