A festival of anticipation from 30 November to 22 December 2024

The Mattseer Advent transforms the market square and its surroundings into a wonderful, glittering place with Christmas lights. The festively decorated town and the lovingly decorated wooden huts on the lakeside promenade create an inviting atmosphere that invites you to stroll and linger. The scent of mulled wine, roasted almonds and fresh pastries fills the air and creates a feast for the senses.

The lights of 40 lanterns with artistic silhouettes lead from Weyerbucht, Schlossbergweg, Bajuwarengehöft to the Advent market by the lake. Enjoy the idyllic Lantern path from Friday to Sunday in the pre-Christmas period until New Year's Eve
