Things to know about
Seeham
Seeham is a small village on the western shore of Obertrumer See and looks back on a long tourist tradition. As early as 150 years ago, city dwellers came to us for their summer retreat, and it has remained that way to this day - the lake and the idyll of the region magically attract people. If you cycle or walk through our area in summer, you will see the meadows of the hay farmers. The smell of hay takes you back to times long past, that's what a summer holiday in Salzburg Seenland smells like!
The fine products that come from hay milk - the best organic hay milk cheese in many variations - can be found on our breakfast tables and in the picnic baskets. By the way, the share of organic farmers is particularly high in Seeham, at 80 percent.
For example, the EU Commission has named us the "Organic Capital" in 2022 and awarded us the "Best Organic City in Europe Award"!
In general ... you will experience a varied and pleasant holiday with us. With lots of swimming fun in our beautiful lido and unforgettable events on the lake stage. You will explore idyllic landscapes or visit the "High Ropes Park". "Every Friday", local craft businesses open their doors for you and let you watch them at work. Culinary-wise, we really do have all kinds of things to offer. Whether you like to be pampered in the traditional inn, taste local and organic delicacies in the organic food shop or stop by the café on the BioArt Campus.
Seeham is located right on the shores of Obertrumer See, which is perfect for swimming, stand-up paddling and fishing. You can also hire a boat for a relaxing trip around the lake. In fact, there is the possibility to practice the technique of archery.
At the tourist office you have the possibility to rent e-bikes and at the same time you will receive valuable tips and a map for your bike tour.

In 2022, the Harp Circuit Trail was opened, which enchants with lake view viewing platforms, special harp objects and inviting benches and invites you to relax and take fantasy journeys.
