2.1.1 Log files
When visiting our website www.salzburger-seenland.at log files are stored by default for technical reasons, so-called log files. These data records contain the following data: Date, time, name of the page accessed, IP address, the website from which you visit us (referrer URL), browser type and operating system. We also automatically record and store which pages you visit. This data is stored and analysed anonymously. 2.1.2 Passing on to third parties

It may happen that third-party content, such as maps from YouTube videos, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites, is integrated within our website. This always requires that the providers of this content are aware of the IP address of the user. 2.2.1 Newsletter
To send the newsletter, we use the email address you provide and require your confirmation that you, as the owner of the email address, agree to receive it. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure, i.e. you must explicitly confirm that we should activate the newsletter service for you. You will then receive a confirmation and authorisation e-mail from us, asking you to click on the link contained in this e-mail to confirm that you would like to receive our newsletter.

2.2.2 Product recommendations

2.3 Contributions & Comments
When users leave comments on the blog or other posts, their IP addresses are stored. This is done for the security of the provider in case someone writes illegal content in comments and posts (insults, forbidden political propaganda, etc.). In this case, the provider itself can be prosecuted for the comment or post and is therefore interested in the identity of the author.

3.4 Re-targeting

4.2 MailChimp
To send our newsletters, we use the services of Mail Chimp from Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308 USA.
