Neumarkt am Wallersee is one of 76 towns that celebrate the Bauernherbst from mid-August to the end of October. The Bauernherbst in Neumarkt is framed by a village decoration at the three entrances to Neumarkt - traditionally with the well-known hay cows Rosi and Resi. Furthermore, the annual Salzburg Seenland Gartenroas takes place at the beginning of September, where the beekeepers' association presents itself at the Sighartsteinerweiher.

"The traditional costumes are not only unpacked at the farm festival at the Greischbergerhof but also at the traditional Ruperti Firmly unpacked at the lake. Around 10,000 people visit this every year and fill Neumarkt's main street and celebrate together with the local gastronomy, as well as the associations.
